This policy explains how Apeiron ("Apeiron", "we", "us", "our") collects and uses personal data when you enquire about, join, or use Apeiron — through this website, our mobile app, or by speaking with our concierge team. We are the "data controller" of this information under UK data protection law.
We collect the information you would expect from a private membership service:
We rely on the following legal bases under UK GDPR: performance of a contract (providing the membership and concierge services you've asked for), legitimate interests (for example, keeping the app secure, understanding how it's used, and responding to enquiries), consent (for example, if you opt in to marketing communications, which you can withdraw at any time), and legal obligation (for example, retaining payment records for tax purposes).
We do not sell your personal data. We share it only where needed to provide Apeiron:
Some of the providers listed above (including Stripe, Firebase and Anthropic) may process data outside the UK, including in the United States. Where they do, we rely on appropriate safeguards recognised under UK data protection law, such as Standard Contractual Clauses, to ensure your data remains protected.
We keep your account and booking information for as long as you're a member, and for a reasonable period afterwards to meet our legal, accounting and tax obligations (typically up to six years for financial records). Waitlist enquiries that don't proceed to membership are kept only as long as reasonably needed to follow up with you.
Under UK GDPR, you have the right to ask us to: give you access to the personal data we hold about you; correct it if it's inaccurate; delete it; restrict how we use it; or provide it to you in a portable format. You can also object to processing based on legitimate interests, and withdraw consent at any time where we rely on it.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at the email address below. If you're unhappy with how we've handled your data, you also have the right to complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
This website uses Google Analytics to understand how visitors use the site, so we can improve it. Google Analytics sets cookies on your device to do this. We only load Google Analytics, and it only sets cookies, once you click "Accept" on the banner shown when you first visit — if you click "Decline", or don't respond, no analytics cookies are set.
You can change your mind at any time by clearing your browser's cookies for this site, which will show the banner again on your next visit. Analytics data is anonymised (we turn on IP anonymisation) and used in aggregate — it isn't used to identify you personally.
The Apeiron mobile app is separate from this website and uses its own analytics and crash-reporting tools necessary to operate the service, described in section 2 above rather than this section.
When you join the waitlist through this website, we store your name, email, phone number (if given), country and message so a member of our team can follow up with you personally, and send you a one-off confirmation email. We don't use your enquiry for any other purpose.
Apeiron membership is only available to individuals aged 18 or over. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 18.
We use industry-standard measures to protect your data, including encrypted connections, access controls, and processing payment details exclusively through Stripe rather than handling card data ourselves. No system is completely secure, but we take this seriously and review our practices regularly.
We may update this policy from time to time. Where a change is material, we will let you know in the app or by email in advance of it taking effect.
For any question about this policy or your personal data, contact us at membership@apeironlifestyle.com.
